The staff was very good, always with a smile on their face. the location turned out to be great and pleasant, a short walk to downtown and the centre of Lochem. It was in a quiet residential area. We didn't feel like leaving, strongly recommend.

The setting is great, just off restaurants, bars, and the theatre in the center of Lochem, a calm area. I'm glad that getting a hearing accessible room with attractive furniture and a comfy bed was not a problem.

The comforts of the guest room with a balcony were fabulous. the breakfast offered a good choice of fabulous meals. the location couldn't be more comfortable in a nice area. It was close to the center of Lochem, downtown, and the restaurant.

During our stay at Hotel Hof Van Gelre, our family had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area and making use of the hotel's amenities. The openlucht theater in Lochem was a cultural highlight, and our children especially enjoyed the interactive displays at Eungs Schoppe Museum. the hotel offered activities such as billiards and darts, which provided great entertainment for the whole family. We were delighted with the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff, making our stay even more enjoyable.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there had been a designated play area for children. It would have provided a safe and fun space for our kids to enjoy and interact with other young guests.
